Sphalerite specimen

This beautiful sphalerite specimen is a staff pick as outstanding in appearance. Many other samples of sphalerite are available in the Colorado collection. This one weighs in at 3.2 ounces and measures approximately 1.5" tall, 1.75" long and 1.5" wide. A small piece of rhodochrosite is present in the sample.
